'Latinx' Is Not Going to Happen

  • The network that says MAGA promotes violence has guests applauding the O.J. Simpson murders.

We have all heard how it is that when someone on the right says something possibly, maybe, sort of interpretational, it can be said to instigate violence. (To wit: Trump's recent "Bloodbath" comments.) Yet, these same mewling-wailing outlets seem perfectly at ease when direct calls for violence are witnessed from the left.

At CNN, they were covering the recent death of O.J. Simpson, and on more than one occasion, guests were free to state things that were verbally in support of…well, a notable black figure killing white people.

Here is Ashley Allison delivering her sympathetic approach to his "alleged" murders:

He represented something for the black community in that moment in that trial, particularly because there were two white people killed. And the history around how black people have been persecuted during slavery.

And then there was Stephanie Elam, giving voice to the sentiment that led to a coddled celebrity getting away with…well, you know…:

"So many people were just happy to see that someone who is rich and famous, and black, could get away with... er ... what other people did in the system as well, too."

Perhaps the most insightful coverage of Orinthal's passing comes from the automotive site, Jalopnik. Since it is charged with keeping tabs on the auto industry, it may have had the unique insight to spot this coincidental news breaking.

It has been a few fruitless years since the attempt was made to have the term "Latinx" established as an accepted neutral use for Hispanics. This is all because the Spanish language has gendered word usage, and this is deemed to be offensive to self-involved individuals who want their preferred gender to be accepted by…a language that has been in existence for centuries before the emergence of their gender. 

Since the vast majority of Hispanics have resisted using this term for themselves, the elites who tried foisting it on them are now attempting to come up with a new alternative that is sure to be equally rejected:

‘Latine’ is surging in popularity over terms like "Latinx" on university campuses, in museums, and among researchers and media.

Those would be the same elitists who tried forcing Lantinx on people in the first place.

  • Couldn't they have screened these respondents better?!

On "Morning Joe," we were granted the awkwardness of live television. The show staged a focus group video session with a group of undecided voters, and hostess Mike Brzezinski looked deeply unsettled after one question was posed to the group, and those in attendance were uniform in agreeing that they felt Trump would be beneficial economically.

The news that there has been an outbreak of men around New York City randomly attacking women with physical assaults has been disturbing. That this is taking place in the liberal enclave of New York is one thing, but rather than look at possible influences provoking attacks – permissive district attorneys, hostility toward law enforcement, the influx of illegals, etc. – Amanda Marcotte has come up with the conclusion of what is behind all of this:

These stories resonate, as well, because the nation is having a moment of increasingly unhinged male fury at women for daring to have lives that are centered around something other than catering to a man's every whim. Unleashed by Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, there's an upswell of loud male entitlement shouting at us from every corner. 

Amanda next delivers a laundry list of national conservative figures who say things she particularly disagrees with as a woman. What Mandy fails to explain is this: If all of these men are responsible for this hostility toward women, why are these attacks only taking place in New York City?
